If you want to go to Dubai city then for entering this attractive city you need d to get yourself a Dubai Visa. If you are a citizen of an Arab Gulf Co-operation Council Country or certain selected countries then there is no need of visa only an entry permit is enough for that.

Requirements for Visa
Diplomatic or certain business visits visas are the only visas issued by the Embassy. Other then that like transit visa, tourist visa, routine travel, travelers either going to visit family members or business purpose must be arranged via the sponsor. Tour operator or UAE Company concerned / resident can be the Sponsors of other visas. The sponsor will require the visitor’s flight and passport details in advance. Invitation or proof of company trading license is required for the visa of Business visits.

VISIT VISA
The Council of Ministers has decided to reduce the period of visit visas for citizens of 33 countries (France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Cyprus, Finland, Malta, Spain, Monaco, Vatican, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong) who are allowed to enter the UAE without a prior visa to 1 month non-renewable instead of 3 months. The Council of Ministers also decided to impose a charge of visa by Dhs100 to be collected on entry into the UAE through airport, seaports and land entry points.

1. 90 Days Long-Term Visit Visa (Individuals)

5. Student Visa: sponsor must be one of the licensed Universities or Educational Institutions in the UAE (recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education)

Tourist Visa
The tourist visa is a special kind of visit visa. For that you definitely need a sponsor that can be agent or hotel where you are going to stay, who already have the permit to sponsor the tourist visa for Dubai. This Tourist Visa for Dubai is valid for one month and non-renewable.

AED 220 e-form fees
AED 1000 deposit, refundable upon departure of the sponsored person

Transit Visa
Transit Visa is valid for 96 hours. Transit visa can be used when traveling from one nation to another and in between there is a stop over at Dubai. The airline sponsoring Transit Visa must be operating in Dubai. There should be valid flight ticket that will be taken from Dubai to reach final destination. Transit visa is free of cost and the airport authorities will seal an entry stamp on your travel documents.

Special Notes:
Valid for 96 hours from the arrival date provided that the duration between the two trips is no less than 8 hours.
